Damien Walz leads Business Development efforts for VectorCSP. His expertise in management, analysis, B&P, strategic teaming, and marketing are valued assets to the company and its clients. He leads an aggressive team that develops and executes strategic and tactical business capture plans, market penetration initiatives, proposal development activities, and contract vehicle acquisition. Damien has served in several development and management positions at VectorCSP, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of the key aspects of the business. As Project Manager for the U.S. Coast Guard’s Logistics Business Model Development Initiative, he led the team that defined the key processes and success measures for high-performing mission support organizations. As VectorCSP’s first Proposal Manager, he developed and implemented the company’s Proposal Development Process, one of four key business processes that have since been ISO-certified. Upon his promotion to VP of Business Development, Damien was instrumental in maturing VectorCSP’s strategic business capture approach, looking across the Federal spectrum to identify new customer environments in which to market the company and win new business. Damien holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Frostburg State University and his Teacher’s Certification from Elizabeth City State University.
